Topre America Corporation is a Japanese auto part manufacturing firm that recently purchased the 30-acre Champion City Business Park in Springfield, Ohio. They intend to use the 146,000 square foot facility for both stamping and assembly processes. This facility will support their work with Honda and Toyota.
Thomas & Marker contacted TP Mechanical to leverage our capabilities in meeting the demands of accelerated schedules, and contracted us to install HVAC, fire protection and plumbing systems. During the scope review, TP identified some areas that seemed to be overdesigned and overpriced. To help meet the demands of the project schedule, we utilized our ISO-certified fabrication facility. The Topre America facility’s mechanical room was completely prefabricated. The concrete slabs were poured in our facility, and we then attached the mechanical room equipment and piping racks to the slabs. Our CAD team designed the slabs for quick assembly upon arrival to the project site.
