SHEET METAL JOURNEYMAN Installer
Location: Columbus, Ohio
TP Mechanical is seeking a skilled Sheetmetal Journeyman Installer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the layout and installation of sheet metal and duct systems on commercial and industrial job sites. Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of HVAC systems and at least three years of field experience.

Job Skills:
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of general sheet metal and HVAC installation
- Working knowledge of all hand and power tools
- Ability to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy and productivity
- Basic math skills
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position also include:
- Able to layout and install sheet metal and/or duct systems.
- Reads blueprints and interprets specifications.
- Installs hangars or supports for systems.
- Assists with the assembly and installation of HVAC equipment as necessary.
- Keeps equipment in good working order and insures proper and timely maintenance is performed on equipment.
- Follows all OSHA and TPMC standards for safety. Keeps work area clear of unnecessary clutter and performs routine clean-up as needed.
- Offloading deliveries and loading truck at job sites.
Required Qualifications & Certifications
- Minimum 3 years experience of pipefitting/HVAC field operations

- Ability to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy and productivity
- Basic math skills
Education:
- High School or GED equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Eyesight correctable to 20/50
- Able to perform shift work
- Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 60 lbs
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Special Requirements:
- Valid Drivers License
