We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and installation of sheet metal components used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This position requires a strong understanding of fabrication tools, HVAC systems, and sheet metal layout and design.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and installation of sheet metal components used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This position requires a strong understanding of fabrication tools, HVAC systems, and sheet metal layout and design.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications

  • Lay out and fabricate sheet metal ducts, fittings, and other HVAC components

  • Operate fabrication machinery such as shears, brakes, rollers, plasma cutters, and hand tools

  • Measure and cut sheet metal with accuracy

  • Assemble and install fabricated components in accordance with project requirements

  • Ensure all products meet company quality standards and comply with safety regulations

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area

  • Collaborate with HVAC technicians, engineers, and other tradespeople as needed

  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

Required Qualifications & Certifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical school or apprenticeship preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication, preferably in HVAC

  • Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings

  • Familiarity with SMACNA standards is a plus

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • OSHA certification is a plus
