The past three years, TP Mechanical has held multiple mechanical systems contracts for plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection with The Ohio State University for projects known as the South High Rise buildings. We started working in Park-Stradley Hall and then moved to Smith-Steeb & Siebert. We are currently working on new bid contracts for this renovation. Project Overview
The Fidelity Investments project at 100 Howe Drive, Covington, Kentucky was completed in November 2008 with a total construction value of $6.4 million.
Fidelity Investments needed a new facility to perform and manage their operations. A corporate, long-term goal was to reduce the engergy consumption inorder to reinvest into the company. TP Mechancial was selected as the contractor to reach thier goal. We installed the first engergy efficient, nybride under floor air distribution (UFAD) and chilled beam system in the Central United States. This system has the potential to reduce Fidelity Investment’s energy costs by twenty-two percent.

When it came time to renovate Cunz Hall on the campus of The Ohio State University, TP Mechanical was proud to work with Ruscilli Construction on the $24.4 million project. The HVAC and Plumbing portions of the contract on this home to the University’s College of Public Health involved a complete overhaul of the systems, including hydronic service for steam, chilled water, hot water and refrigeration piping. The plumbing installation included cold and hot water, lab water, lab air and storm and sanitary systems. TP Mechanical’s fabrication team supplied exhaust and return air ductwork.
