TP Mechanical is committed to supporting our communities through green building and sustainability practices. These efforts help improve the well-being of our building occupants, lessen the impact on the environment and power economic performance. Through training, participation in LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), prefabrication techniques and recycling programs, we are an industry leader in green building and sustainability.
TP Mechanical actively participates in LEED-certified construction projects and take an integrated role in obtaining the desired certification for each facility. We can help property owners achieve a variety of LEED points related to:
- Water Efficiency
- Construction Waste Management
- Low-emitting Materials
- Innovation & Design Process
Through prefabrication, TP Mechanical can help achieve sustainability through the best utilization of materials. These techniques also lower accident risk, reduce the size of the labor force on job sites and cut down on the number of deliveries to job sites.
Our offices and ISO-certified fabrication shop participate in recycling programs for all metals, plastics, paper, cardboard and glass. For example, in 2014 TP Mechanical shredded and recycled 2,550 pounds of paperwork, which saved 22 trees.
